High quality media player supporting USB audio DACs and HiRes audio chips found in the latest phones. Play up to any resolution and sample rate that the DAC supports! All popular and less popular formats are supported (beyond the formats that Android supports), including wav, flac, mp3, m4a, wavpack, SACD ISO, MQA and DSD.This app is a must-have for every audiophile, bypassing all audio limits of Android. Whether you use our custom developed USB audio driver for USB DACs, our HiRes driver for internal audio chips or the standard Android driver, this app is one of the highest quality media players around.Since version 5, the app now includes a MQA Core Decoder (in-app purchase required). MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording. The master MQA file is fully authenticated and is small enough to stream or download, while also being backward compatible. The Tidal streaming service supported by USB Audio Player PRO features many tracks in MQA and offers a great opportunity to experience MQA.The MQA decoder will unfold the MQA stream from 44.1/48kHz to 88.2/96 kHz and can also be combined with USB DACs that feature a MQA renderer (e.g. AudioQuest DragonFly / iFi / Ztella) for further unfolding to even higher sample rates. Please visit http://mqa.co.uk for more information about MQA and https://www.extreamsd.com/index.php/mqa to read more about MQA inside the app.Features:• Plays wav/flac/ogg/mp3/MQA/DSD/SACD ISO/aiff/aac/m4a/ape/cue/wv/etc. files (even 24-bit and 32-bit).• Supports a USB audio DAC connected by an OTG cable• Plays natively up to 32-bit/768kHz or any other rate/resolution your USB DAC supports by completely bypassing the Android audio system. Other Android players are limited to 16-bit/48kHz.• Utilizes HiRes audio chips found on many phones (LG V series, Samsung S series, OnePlus, Fiio X5/X7, Pioneer XDP, Nokia, etc.) to play HiRes audio at 24-bit without resampling! Bypasses the Android resampling limits!• Free MQA decoding and rendering on the LG V30/V35/V40/V50/G7/G8• DoP, native DSD and DSD-to-PCM conversion• Toneboosters MorphIt Mobile: improve the quality of your headphones and simulate over 700 headphone models (in-app purchase required)• Build a Library containing tracks with audio formats that would be unavailable from the Android media database• Folder playback• UPnP/DLNA• UPnP media renderer and content server• Network playback (SambaV1/V2, FTP, WebDAV)• Stream audio from Tidal (including Tidal Masters/MQA), Qobuz and Shoutcast• Gapless playback• Bit perfect playback• Replay gain• Synchronized lyrics display• Sample rate conversion (if your DAC doesnt support the audio files sample rate, it will be converted to a higher sample rate if available or the highest if not available)• 10-band equalizer• Software and hardware volume control (when applicable)• Upsampling (optional)• Last.fm scrobbling• Android Auto• No root required!In-app purchases:* Advanced parametric EQ from effect vendor ToneBoosters (around €1.99)* MorphIt headphones simulator (around €3.29)* MQA Core decoder (around €3.49)Warning: this is not a generic system-wide driver, you can only playback from within this app like any other player. Please have a look here for a list of tested devices and more information on how to connect a USB audio device:https://www.extreamsd.com/index.php/technology/usb-audio-driverFor more information on our HiRes driver and compatibility list:https://www.extreamsd.com/index.php/hires-audio-driverPlease contact us by email at [email protected] to report any issues so we can solve them quickly!Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AudioEvolutionMobileTwitter: https://twitter.com/extreamsd* Another attempt: restarting an Android device running Android 11 or higher with Bluetooth enabled could cause the app to go in an endless loop consuming battery and heating up the device until the app crashed. Should be solved now.* Solved an issue where the queue could be saved while it was being loaded which could lead to an empty queue on next start.* Solved issue with playlist name when converting from m3u to UAPP playlist.* Added HiRes support to the iBasso DX240 and Cayin N8ii.

GREAT APP ~ I'M TRYING IT AGAIN

MARK SPANSEL

Cannot play a song with Tidal. When I try one show up this "Error in getStreamURL3: Asset is not ready for playback". How to solve this. Thank u.

I have a galaxy fold 3 with an apple type c to 3.5mm dongle Whenever I use this app to try make the volume louder and go on my YouTube music or anything outside of the app. It's louder but with painfully bad audio. Like crackling and just horrific audio... would change to 5* review if this could be fixed

An audio player app that bypasses the inferior Android native audio drivers, and outputs music through your dedicated DAC (aka 'dongle'). Does exactly what it says. Supports streaming from Qobuz and Tidal, works flawlessly so far. If you have a good DAC and good headphones, the sound improvement is noticeable. If you don't have that, then this app isn't for you. Supports bit-perfect playback, and MQA decoding (as an in-app purchase). All in all, fairly priced and great app!

For $8 it should not be so buggy. I've only been using it for a day and it's already gotten to the point where I might just stop using it. There is almost no customization available in terms of UI, it's crashed several times, sometimes it just only plays one song and stops even though none of the settings tell it to do that, it's very slow and unresponsive sometimes. I kept reading all these things online about how this is the must-have music app, but so far it's not proven to me why it should cost so much.

Outstanding. Only wish the network integration were better.

Please add .dff metadata support

Great sound, USB DAC bit perfect works, however huge battery drain. Samsung S20FE + Cayin RU6 as at April 22.

Superior listening experience, unfortunately for tidal buggy and crushy, when music is paused sometimes you can't resume it, sometimes you have to restart the app because it tells you you have no internet connection. For your own music files no such problems occur.

Problem: UAPP doesnt gracefully handle the networks change from home-wifi to 4g-mobile networks. Streaming qobuz while the change is happening stops the playback completely. It doesnt recover on it's own. If you open the phone, UAPP displays some quick hover-notification about network issues. Bonus request: Please have something that indicates that the player is buffering in the main player screen. User has no idea if something is happening on button press. The smaller pulled down player says "buffering" and that would great on the larger one too. I would've posted this in your forums, but it wanted me to wait for activation.
